Ok, we have simple information about file extension, now I am going to share what exactly what to do with file extension.

1.    By recognize file formats we can avoid some virus that attached on email. There are two major kinds of file formats that used to execute virus. First is executables and service-launching formats, we identify this form from its tail (.com; .exe; .bat; .cmd; .pif; .msi; .hta; .scr). Example of this type: rontok.exe or sexy.hta . Second, the script teaser, be careful with this type, because of its uncommon form. Script base on windows script host using .ws ; .wsc and .wsf extension. For JavaScript using .js extension and the last script that base on Visual Basic usually using .vb ; .vbe and .vbs extension.

2.    Got your desktop freeze? Or you can’t open your file because it cannot identify by windows? This is common problems and it has very very very easy to fix. First, this problem came from application that makes them default application for some file format, but then you decide to not use the application anymore. You just simply uninstall it right. Well guess what, when you do the “Uninstall party” the system cannot identified the file format because the application that can read it has banished. So how you fix this? You can use software that fixed it with one click, may I suggest? Try File Extensions to repair it for you.
